Push Button start...

So, im surprised that no one has asked or posted about this yet. But, im wondering if you can swap over (with minor problems) the BRZ start panel with the other gauges to the FR-S?

Don't forget about the door handles and trunk proximity sensor. Making everything work with the engine immobilizer would be fun..

How can you do this without a smart key?

Can we get a smart key for this?

I'd love to keep my keys in my pocket.

My shop installed a smart key on an FR-S back in June. Keys stayed in pocket doors unlocked in proximity and the kit the customer brought in put a plastic knob on the key cylinder which you turned to start. It could pretty easily have been hooked up to a push button start.
