$350 for the wheel. My friend runs @sweidit. Can check his IG for photos of his work. He’s done a bunch of custom stuff for 86/BRZ owners.

Bought a GR wheel from Japan and shipped it to my friend who does custom interior work. Had it wrapped with Alcantara with color matched stitching and a 12 o’ clock stitch stripe. Also had him do the ebrake and shift boots in Alcantara with the same stitching to match.

That wheel looks nice!

Any chance you plan to add in more of the Hakone's seat color into the rest of the interior? IDK why buy, the orange seat feel a bit contrasting to the subtle orange stitching on the rest of the interior. Might just end up being tacky though. IDK

Sorry for not cleaning the headunit but here's my interior as it is now:

I didn't realize how dumb it'd look to have the OEM leather for the e-brake boot after having the handle re-done, so I'm thinking of just buying a replacement boot in perforated leather with red stitching from a random vendor and trying to replace it myself. You can't see this in the pic fortunately, but when you're sitting there it looks really weird next to the nicely re-done handle.

I’m pretty much done interior wise at this point. If I choose to keep the car long term, like 5+ years, then I’d replace the seats for full black Recaro SR7s and then have the arm rest done, removing the remaining tan leather.

At that point, the interior would be all black and just have the orange/tan stitching.

Yeah, you want to disconnect the battery first before anything else. I left the battery disconnected while the seat belts were out. It wasn’t bad, it took about 30 minutes to get them out and 30 minutes to go back in. You do have to disconnect an airbag wire on each seat belt. SafetyRestore was quick too. They received my old seat belts and had the new ones done and shipped in under 24 hours. Since they’re so quick, the waiting time really comes down to how fast the shipping is.

I followed this YouTube video as a tutorial:

Here’s pictures of the process too:

I really didn’t know what I was doing, so I was using those 2 links above for guidance.

SafetyRestore has 4 shades of red available - Ferrari red, black-edged red, elegant red and burgundy.

I went with Ferrari Red cuz I wanted them to pop more. Burgundy is considerably darker than the tS OEM seat belts. Elegant Red or Black-Edged Red are the closest to matching the OEM red stitching in the interior. Black-edged red might be the perfect shade but I’m wasn’t a fan of the black edges.
