Adjustable SPC LCA's installed, and alignment, -1.7 rear camber on both sides now. My SPC cambolts up front maxed out at -2.0 and -2.2. .07 toe in up front both sides, .13 toe in in the back.

Finally my car is fixed from the accident a month+ ago. There was some trouble getting an alignment because the shop that did the work contracts with Midas and the result of that was predictable "We can't get it on the alignment machine because of that- I don't even know what it is- thing on the front of your car- that snowplow thing". They don't know what a lip is and called it a snow plow thing. So I got the alignment done at a better shop which let me specify settings (according to advice from this forum). The other guy's insurance co. paid for all of it AND the rental last week.

I was a week and a day without my car, I'm glad she's back!

Could you give us some driving impressions when you get a chance. Also, what settings are you running soft vs hard, etc. Thanks!

They are a very good entry level coilover. Like most reviews by reputable suspension guys on this forum, I don't think they are the best choice for track. Don't get me wrong, you can take them on the track and if setup right will do pretty good but you will have to set the damping rate pretty high and constantly running it at 1, 2, or 3 clicks will really wear out the dampers fast.

With that said they are a great coilover for street and mountain back country twistiest. I have the preload at about 1/8 inch and damper to 7 clicks, its very comfortable. I would say its just as comfortable as stock but still firmer, no crazy jarring or back breaking stuff. Body roll has reduced tremendously and overall the car is much more stable.

I still have to get an alignment but Ill let it settle in first. I may also get it professionally setup and corner balanced but that is in the future if that does happen.

.

How long have you had it on them? Is it standing up well? This may be exactly the route I want to go since I like the pattern of the stock wheels but have wanted a gunmetal/graphite colour. Handy to see how it looks on a lowered Lava.

Its been maybe a little over a month. The have stood up very well to the daily drive. Mostly 30 miles of highway driving everyday for work. I'm in the same boat, I like the pattern but that stupid silver line they put. If that line wasn't there and it was all that black background color I would not have painted them. I also wanted something a different from the black paint everyone does when painting there wheels.

^ The graphite painted wheels look good. Reminds me of the 2011-2014 WRX wheels.

Question for anyone who has tail light overlays: How much of a pain was it to install? For someone with no experience?

I'm not a fan of the clear housing, but do like the circular brake light and amber turn signal. An overlay with turn signal cutout would be a cheaper alternative to an aftermarket tail light.

I specifically don't want black so as to avoid the black pit look. That colour is perfect.

Yeah, same here. I hate washing my car because I know in a matter of hours it's going to be covered in pollen.
