I will ask again for those of us who went EL...plz just answer the basic question shiv. Will u be offering any refinements/updates to your ots maps for EL's???i know thats not what u r working on at this moment but what about afterwards?

I think the tunes for UEL and EL are already as good as they get without being risky. As per the original post, these updates are specifically geared toward the OFH where he can tighten things up for that specific header rather. The standard OTS tunes need to be conservative enough to run safely for everyone. There's probably nothing to be done for the generic tunes.

Just came across this thread. Very cool, as I thought the development for the 86 was finished a while ago. Nice to see you are still looking after us, Shiv!

As an owner of an early OFH (serial #10), have any changes been made in the production run that would effect trying this new tune when it becomes available?

I'd like to point out that nowhere in the OP does he say that this won't work with similar headers. He speaks about many improvements that wouldn't necessarily be header specific.

The previous maps weren't nearly as optimized our header as we wanted them to work reasonably well with a wide range of UEL headers.
I was thinking about the main VVT changes.

I suppose the other parts could be applicable to other headers.

Do note that Shiv asked that the beta tune details be kept private.

Shiv is getting LASIK done so I'm guessing it won't be for at least a few weeks.

The gains seem really good, it's a shame our crappy Aussie fuel will not make much of a difference.
