Tweeters that will drop in?

Hi folks,

I have a brz and I've swapped the door drivers with image dynamics units which are a huge improvement. Now looking for tweeters to swap in to remove the tizzy ness of the stock ones.

I'd like a list of 1" tweeters that are a dropping replacement without major fab.

Thx

Steve

Basically any 1" tweeter can just be swapped in without any hassle. I'm personally using Audison Voce 1.1 (http://www.audison.eu/index.php?page=product&id=31)

Are you using the Audison voce's with the stock head unit and amp? Or actives?

How do you like them?

Stock HU, running to processor, running to Rockford amp (we aussies don't get a stock amp), running to passive crossover, running to 3" and 1" in the dash.

They are fantastic! Not the cheapest, but well worth the money imo.

This. Purchased a pair of 1" Voce's and a pair of 3" Voce's separately. As well as an Audison crossovers for the job.

4 channel amp:
2 channels going to the dash
2 channels going to the doors

Are there any adapters/harnesses needed to replace the tweeters? In my old tc the tweeter had a crossover built in to it and there was no way to replace it without running new wiring/crossovers. Is it just plug and play now?

Sadly, no photos apart from the refurbished boot with 2 10" slims, but I've done a write-up here for anyone who's interested:
