Oh, yes, you best get your finances in order .... soon. I went into a Scion dealership a few months back, driving a perfectly good 06 Miata, with the thought of trading within a year, .... went back the next day and bought my FR-S.... humfrz |

Picked up my asphalt '13 FRS 1 week ago- 90 miles- apparently it was a popular test drive (got a fantasic deal on it). Been quietly reading here for a few weeks and picking up some great tips on washing, break-in, etc (still debating on when to do first oil change- seems to be a hot topic).. Anyways- great info here- here's a pic of the new ride.

Fine looking machine you picked out.... IF you really want to search hard for something on this forum ..... like when to first change the oil .... I suggest you use Google and put this in the search box in front of your search criteria "site:ft86club.com" ... sans quotes. OR, you can just go with my (and Toyota's) recommendation.... and change it at 7,500 miles ... Careful with those "summer tires" (if so equipped) on slick, cold roads .... that are heading your way. humfrz |

Thanks humfrz- I was leaning towards 7500 actually so thanks for helping me continue that train of thought! And yes- I'm a huge fan of site searching on google - especially forums.

Ah whiteouts...they are beautiful. Grats on the car, your first sports car that is. I'm in the same boat as you are the forum has a lot of information from changing an oil to how DIY your own turbo. Are you planning on making any performance upgrades or just wanna keep it stock and do some cosmetics?

Good day, new this forum and in the process of picking up an FR-S, it is about a month off but of all goes well, I will be in tuner heaven.
Past cars include 2011 335is Jetta TDI Cup GTI Mini Cooper S GTO's x 2 Boxster 3-944's 2-914's EVO 10 EVO 8 (was a moderator on evom's) etc... I drove two FRS's back to back last year and have been jonesing ever since. the perfect (real world) tuner car that is enormously fun to drive and pretty economical! Amazed at all the things we can get now, so cool! |

New here, coming to say hi.
I am 24 years old.
A couple months ago I bought a salvaged FRS in an auction. White, 3.5k miles on it, it was hit in the front, not too hard. I am still working on fixing it up. I just graduated from college so now that I should have more time at home after work I can finally put more time into it. Front bumper, absorber, condenser and radiator just came in a couple days ago, just a new hood and bumper cover to go. I joined the forum because I feel like I have a lot I can learn on here. Hi. |

Hi There!
My name is Eric. I just purchased a Scion FRS 10 series two days ago thanks to a good discount they gave out for 2013 plus college graduate discount
I love every minute driving it ! coming from bmw e36 m3 for 12 years and Evo X and ISF, I have to say this is by far the most balanced and all around car for DD!!!! Hahaha, upon picking up my car, i realized the dealer gave me a regular A/T shift knob and said i can switch between the illuminated one and the regular whenever i want. haha. thats a nice bonus i guess |
