Try looking up Giacomo steering wheel spacers. He's an Italian guy. The 949 spacers aren't US made....

It's Continental WinterContact TS860 205/55 R16 91T. I don't think they are very special. But I'd say, good tires.

Well, if you look at Mer, BMW & few other brands do make RWD cars for a long time and they're perfectly fine driving in the snow. It's all about the tires and driver. I live in the state in the winter, it snows like crazy and since I've bought my BRZ, haven't got stuck once. Actually, it perform better than my previous car (Impreza 2.5RS coupe) w all season tires.

Generally ppl thinks AWD is the best for winter... well it's half true. Yes, AWD will help go forward better than 2WD, but stopping is same damn thing. They don't get that part. I love when they counter w "Well, it help move around in the snow."... even though TIRES helps more than drivetrain.

I agree. But, I don't think this car would perform this good, if it did not have a LSD. When you loose traction from one side, you don't loose the other side; and that makes a difference.

Pulling the engine today or tomorrow, and the gear set out of the tranny. Got new engine seals and pan gasket. Hope the bearings on the gear set are still in good shape
