MAW lightweight battery kit.

Did some test fitting for Motive Autowerks last weekend on their new BRZ/FR-S battery.

Battery is 11.7 lbs.
Battery box is around 7 oz.

Uses inserts in the stock lower bracket to hold it down so you'll pass tech.

Honestly, I'm not sure yet. I'll have to talk to them about pricing, but most likely in the ballpark of your typical lightweight battery trays out there.

funny that you should ask that. We've purposely been leaving ours outside on then going out and starting it every few days to see how it does.

So far it seems to be doing just fine.

Those CCA pale in comparison to the stock Group 35. Have you considered a box for everybody's favorite, the PC680?

we have, and we discussed it at length with MAW when we asked for this design. Given the emphasis on the weight on this car, even from the manufacturer we opted to go with a lighter battery that we think will still meet the FA20 owner's needs.
