Dyno Matchup between A/T FR-S and SI

This video surprised the crap out of me because I thought the A/T plus RWD would make the FR-S whp significantly lower than the 2.4L SI.

Factor the weight difference ... equals lots of fun in the FR-S

10 second 0-60? I didn't watch the video at all and just forwarded to the dyno plots but something seems fishy about that unless my little sister was driving. a tundra does a 0-60 in like 8 seconds.

I`m guessing high altitude or bad dyno calibration for acceleration because I can't see taking 10s to get to 60, and 16s to get past the 1/4 mile.

it should make less but the frs has a TRD exhaust so that helped bump it up a little.

You think the exhaust made all the difference?

Maybe 5hp lol so really less than 150hp to the wheels ...seeing as the civic is stock I say even if it was a mt frs(stock) it would still lose the numbers game.

Agreed. Crazy, looks fun though!

The FRS having an exhaust does help due to less restrictions, therefore creating more whp.

Yeah but I have a hard time believing that a 5 hp exhaust can make up for a huge difference when the SI is manual and FWD. It has the opposite of the FR-S with a Automatic and RWD.
