I am sure he can send you a file with the proper MAF scaling for the Vortech to get your car running.

Rob, before they started dyno tuning my car, they ran one pull on the street tune we both have. It registered a 282whp.

It very well could be the exhaust. That's the only difference I see in our cars.

only about 235whp @ 7500rpm

Need to have the tune tweaked. AFR was leaning out from 4,500-7900rpm. This is already with 700cc injectors and 265lph fuel pump. Not sure if this is because of an exhaust leak somewhere, or if the fuel pump backed out and does not have enough pressure. I'll be installing an AEM wideband o2 then back to the dyno for proper tuning. The car hasn't been tuned on the dyno yet, just at the street.

Vortech 9psi stock pulley
100 RON pump gas
6MT
Borla UEL header
Milltek over pipe
Milltek front pipe
Milltek resonated catback
Deatschwerks 700cc injectors and DW65c 265lph fuel pump
tuned by Speedworks (same tuner as Blitzkrieg's 300whp Vortech 9psi)

Thanks for the info Dax! It could very well be the exhaust and headers. Ryan and Leo from Speedworks were also at the shop tuning another car. Before my car was dynoed, they told me that your 3 inch exhaust setup really made a difference.

It could also be because of my headers. The Borla UEL doesn't make a lot of power in the higher rpm range as opposed to your VDS header which makes power everywhere

There have been a lot of questions about belt sizes, so I got our Engineers to supply me with the following information. I hope this helps everyone out.

The current OEM AC Delete kit will not work with the out of the box Vortech S/C Kit. If you purchase this kit and have the AC Delete you have some more work in front of you.

-- Trim part of AC Delete Bracket to fit S/C Support Bracket
-- Run either smaller S/C Pulley or smaller pulley on AC Delete Kit
--- AC Delete has a 4.5" Puller and sits a bit lower than the OEM 4.25" AC Pulley
-- New Belt when will be required when downsizing AC Delete Pulley or SC Pulley
--- I will get that once I complete steps 1 & 2 with my current install.

Talk about perfect timing even though I already knew what size I needed for the 2.87". I just killed a belt last night Took out 3 of my idler pulleys with it. Damn you plastic pulleys!! Somehow made it home with half a belt and mangled pulleys haha good times.

Going to be running the 4TF218-124 kit engine oil fed kit. Where's the best place to tap for the oil return?

It looks like here is the spot for the feed.

Easier to just get an aftermarket oil pan?

I swear I just looked through this and didnt find anyone reporting any actual mpg changes.

For those of you running the kit (especially interested in the base pully size and tunes) what kind of changes (if any) in your mileage are you getting? I'm especially interested in highway cruising situations as most everyone will be getting less in day to day driving with the added boost/power.

I'm fine with loosing fuel efficiency with the added boost, but I also drive a decent amoutn and it would be tough to take a huge hit with normal driving.

Thanks!

With the new belt and smooth pulley did the belt routing change?
