About 0.5 fl oz in the last 1000 miles. What specific issue would you notice without a check valve? I don't know, because I wouldn't know what to look out for.

Added that extra 10+whp

But still working on my second revision lol.

Aside from that, man those direct fuel injectors are loud. I don't remember it being that loud, but adding the D-box / or the second tune made it significantly louder lol. I don't mind it as it was the same on my 06 civic.

Though, is that normal? Also, I can finally hear the infamous crickets chirping sound. It's feint, but w/e lol

Quick question. Guys, I'm in socal and it's been rather cold lately. Today I drove thirty miles and the car wasn't behaving well at all. It almost felt like there was "turbo lag" from 1-3k RPMs especially in first and second gear. I dont really feel the boost hit til 3500. Anyone else experience this too? Hoping it won't be there when I drive it tommorow

Are you on the carb tune? If so there was a discussion in regards to that issue in the Edelbrock thread. I actually just got done reading it as well lol. I'll edit my post if I find that specific page again since in on my phone.

Can I buy the tuner version of the SC, and the delicious tune, for the smoothness and hp?
or do I need the base tune from edelbrock first, for the delicious tune to work?

Also, any recommendations for shops for installing and possibly to purchace the kit through in the GTA, preferably west side

Yeah you can buy it and use DT's tune right off the bat.

Yes, you can buy the tuner version. Once you purchase the tune and installed your SC, just let DT know and they will send you a base tune to drive around in. You can then do your logging for tune refinements.

having problems hitting correct amount of boost. Will start to look into it, is there anything else common besides the intake manifold gaskets?

Yup! Carb tune. Anything new you find? I think it was just the really cold weather and I had it parked outside for that night (baby is usually in the garage) after that one lone incident I haven't had the same issue since!

I'd also check all the hoses and clamp them down (a handful of hoses are either not clamped or could use better hose clamps)
