New N. American Record!! Pure Automotive Goes 9.21 @150MPH!!

We had a great weekend at Maryland International Raceway For Imports Vs Domestics World Cup Finals! The weather was good except for Saturday. The car set a new chassis record! We qualified for our class but got knocked out in round 1 in a close race. Thank you so much to everyone that helped us out, it means alot to have your support.

We ran a 9.6 @ 145, a 9.4 @ 145, a 9.5 @ 144, and our best was a 9.2 @ 150 ! We will go 8's next year !

We also have an FA20 Drag Car that we are going for 9s with next season. Sleeved block and big turbo. We have 2 different transmission setups for next year to try with the FA.

Better make sure the tranny behind that 2JZ actually works and he has big tires before he tries to call out the 405.

Im guessing a Quaife/Hollinger. Very curious to know what kind of turbo you guys would be using! Bigger or slightly smaller than the average human head?

Actually no, we don't believe in $20,000 transmissions lol.

We are searching for Afordable options for real people. $7k gear sets and $10,000 v160 conversions aren't going to help the average twin owner. So we are looking to stay under $5k.

As far as the turbo size, we are going T4 67mm Not a monster, but not a little guy either.
