Id guess motec have not done a lot of work with auto transmissions maybe motec assume anyone using motec is racing and will use full manual mode all the time ?

usually you need sport mode on transmission for auto blip ??

Also with stock setup the transmission ecu stops doing auto blip and shifts differently when transmittion detects problems with its own control unit readings or the engine ecu data. If motec not providing correct info to transmittion computer likey why auto blip dioesnt work and shifting lazy

If transmission shifting works fine with stock ecu then id say its just motec have not got all the auto transmission communications correct between teansmission ecu and engine ecu. There is likely a lot of data exchanged between the two control units ie engine and transmission, likey a lot we dont know about. throttle position , engine load, road speed gear rpm ignition retard on shift . The transmission ecu likely sends data back to engine ecu like shift complete shift in progress maybe has economy mode at light throttle and more. Its unlikely anyone but motec can fix those issues.

My only suggestion would be go back to stock ecu and ecutek to control the boosted engine if is cost effective to sell motec and purchase ecutek cable and licience

My man steve is here finally..
Thanks steve for your comments.
Yes i agree it seems motec is more focused on manual
Then why they launch the auto packages ?
Dont make sense right ?
Yes .. the blip is fine wigh stock ecu. Just have bottom limit speed i guess. Like 70kmh
Below 70 they not present.
No need push sport mode.

So basically leave the blip and flat shift later on
I just focussed on two things
1. Start button has to pres 2 times with motec
2. Light throttle. The hift up is always after 3000rpm with motec.. it feels very rough.
And fuel consumptions is damn..
With stock ecu i can reach 6-8 liters per 100Km on 80-90kmh speed
With motec it was 12-14 liters/ 100km

Well yeah i was thinking of going ecutek.
But motec guy just came and replied my email lately.
Nathan and stephen dean who wrote the packages himself is working on it.
I will give them a try.
I still believe a 5000$ ecu has to be better than stock at least.
I cant wait to install my supercharger and go to track again.

that 5000$ ecu assums you know what you're doing. If you arent, better to get a tuner to handle it for you.

Anyone had no experience this
It seems motec AU is giving up soon
Nathan already said.. its worthless to chase 1 car problem which is mine. And they put the blame on the car. Because other car is working fine.
Well i guess i will have to solve this my self

Looks that Motec on-boarded to our platform as vendor, without much internal product research and development. Easy money!

I was told in the past by a "racing" team in Germany to swap the factory ECU and install a Link G4+ Extreme ECU. They were insisting that this was the best option and we would even have to travel at a tuner in Belgium (?!) to make the tuning of the maps. I was lucky enough to not bite the bullet and start doing nonsense.

Swapping the factory ECU to another vendor's ECU ...
