I finally found a cell phone mount solution that works for me without costing an arm and a leg. My iPhone is in a case with a kick stand so I did not want a magnetic or phone specific mount. I have been using the knock off Ram mount X Grip for years on various motorcycles and have been happy with the results.

I have a Hondo Garage vent mount for my Tacoma that you can mount the Ram ball base. It seemed like it would work since the round vents look to be the same, but unfortunately the bezel is different >.<

I had one of the mounts that I took off a previous motorcycle. I dismantled the handle bar base mount to get the ball and threaded bolt part. A quick trip to the drill press and it was securely mounted to a radio trim piece that I got off a guy on OfferUp for $10.

I paid $13 on eBay a few years ago for the X Grip knock off and $10 for the trim piece.

I've tried all sorts of mounts and the best one i've tried is the "Proclip" coupled with a scosche magicmount xl. Doesn't block air vents, doesn't require adhesive, just snaps into place

The speedo piece looks decent. Another item sitting in my kart.

The CF trim covers look pretty good for the cost as well. Might change up some stuff If I run into issues with the black suede

I have been using the quad lock and it is really solid. It is a bit pricing but I haven't had my phone nearly thrown out the passenger side window since.

Picked up and installed JDM exhaust tips. Definitely a much nicer look. This is really what the car should have come with.

A warm day up in the great white north calls for a quick spin for some coffee... plus I slapped the TE's on.

@rbfr.s
Very very nice ride and mods.

I thought about body matching my trd vent wings and sard wing, but then it would be difficult to resell the sard wing if I cover the carbon

Bought the SARD wing secondhand for a steal. The weave was damaged and the frp was dented up top. Took a lot of bondo, sanding, and patience.

Yesterday: Cleaned corrosions on the battery terminals and the interior of the car.

Later in the evening, I noticed a blue BRZ night next to our home. The neighbour’s friends it shouldve been. Nice to see a twin right beside

So the past few weeks Ive been working on repainting my car. Literally used $5 a can Rustoleum Flat White. I neglected my car for 2 years so some of the dry carbon on the fenders ect had cracked other various cosmetic issues that would be costly to have entire car painted elsewhere. Im very happy with my rattle can results

Also added splitters, side skirts, spats. Painted anything matte black to a Gloss Black and 2k Clear and also added red pinstripe.

And got some New Konig Hypergrams in Carbon w/lip 17x9

Last good old pic from 2 years ago

NEW!

I would love to see this in person. Would you be up to meeting at Wawa next to the post office sometime?

Not sure when I have time to meet. But if we're talking about the same Wawa/Post office, I live in the house behind the post office
