I got my 2018 BRZ Limited with PP and optional package for 26K with only 8 miles on it, sitting indoors.
I think you were talking about me. I paid 30,380 with destination for a Limited, manual with Homelink and all weather mats. There is a $199 admin fee Missouri allows them to charge that is going up to 595 next month. So I feel like I got a great deal. 9 Subarus in 18 years will do that for you.

I would just do the front as they handle the majority of braking anyway.

And drop like 21lbs off the nose of the car.

I have walked anytime a dealer has tried to charge me an admin/doc fee.

Then magically they don't have to charge it anymore.

I could never give it up.

Special cars shouldn't just be a transaction waiting to happen, they should inspire you, you should know what you want without having to debate pros and cons. Budget obviously comes into play, but if you truly want something special, ask yourself what is it to you that makes these steel boxes on wheels special and I think you'll find your answer.

If the cost of the M2 is so in your mind (and you can afford it), I don't think it's special enough for you.
Special ? WTF .. that's a lot of special going on. I'm still trying to find the definition ...

If you thought going in buying a BRZ /FR-S, you could go zero-65 or 70 in 6-7seconds , that info is in the specifications ... simple google search or brochure should say it.

FRS / BRZ / GT86 =. it's a drift car , at 20mph ... or 40mph . It'll never be the fastest in the world , there is always something else out there faster. Look at what it does well . BMW parts are expensive / COO.... , and I'll probably never "own" a VTEC engine

The definition was lost, along with the definition of sportscar.

I joined the 400z forum and no longer have a twin. I guess I'm actually really interested at this point.

The only "special" that I know of is special Olympics , special education ... but usually that word is over used, like the word "love"

I'm interested in the future opportunity to lightweight a BRZ, within reason.

Did someone say you can drop 20# just with some 2-piece rotors for the front? Or is that rotors + aluminum calipers to drop 20#?

And, I haven't heard any mention of the rims on the Limited being forged. Is it likely to be able to drop about 5#/wheel going aftermarket? (Pittsburgh roads and winters are horrible so I could see myself selling off the stock 18"ers that come with the Limited to pick up some 17"ers and all-season tires.)

There was a guy here who had an FRS and the main focus was all about weight loss. I forgot his name and I don't think he's posted in quite a while. But yeah it was a fun build to watch. I believe he got it down to something like 2400lbs by gutting the interior and all sorts of other stuff.
