To be fair. They said they had to finish up other projects first and the motor guy had to come back.

It'll all be ready for pick up next Friday.

3 weeks is very optimistic for a very thourough teardown, diagnosis, and rebuild. Not to mention if there are any additional parts that need to be picked up or ordered.

I thought it was optomistic at the time as well, but I just don't want it to turn into another Next Friday... situation. I am awaiting the news with bated breath.

I dont know where you got "3 weeks" from. No time was promised to anyone. Myself and Frs300 spoke about what labor costs would be and also cost of parts if need be, that is all. He had told me initially that he was not going to be able to send it and then a few days later told me the car was on its way up.

I would love to tear into the car but there are/were some huge builds that were already here waiting to be finished. On top of that, we had sent our engine builder to Boost Logic because they needed some help getting ready for the TX2k event this past week which we were at too.

So please, you will all get your updates in due time. I speak with Frs300 daily and he understands. Once the motor is out, and torn apart, we will update what we find. In the meantime, everyone needs to be patient.

That is what he told me when I was concerned that he was shipping his car off to yet another shop without a promise of a timeline. I don't want you to think I was trying to say anything negative about your shop. I just want the man to get to enjoy his car after the year long ordeal.

Not a bad idea to have a backup FA20Club kit.
