I'm surprised you experienced such poor fitment, mine fit perfectly and when tightened it was perfectly flush. It is a bit of a pain to get a wrench in there, make sure you get a ball end 7mm hex socket and torque it to spec and use blue loctite per the instructions and recommendations on the forums.
Even though the torque spec is only 7 ft/lbs, I was surprised it took so much force, if I did it w/o a torque wrench, I doubt I would have torqued it to spec. |
