Subaru BRZ / Scion FRS trailer hitch / bike rack solutions

As a car enthusiast and a cyclist, I found it hard to find a good way to transport my Bike with my Subaru BRZ. Roof racks were too permanent and didn't look well (in my opinion) on these cars. I considered suction cup bike mounts but i didn't trust that to hold my bike AND not damage my paint. This is what i ended up doing. It is called the "Twin Hitch" by Slambert Performance. It bolts right up to the tow hook locations in the rear and is strong enough to hold up to 100lbs tongue weight. The best part is that it can be installed and uninstalled in under 4 minutes (each). Then you just hook up your favorite bike rack that fits in a 1 1/4" receiver. Here are some pictures of the hitch and bike rack i have. The bike rack i have is the Swagman XTC 2.

I've been using the Curt hitch for the last two years but keep thinking I want my ground clearance back and I should get one of those. What did that cost?

Heh, I'm the northeast sales rep for Swagman so I'd also like to get a roof rack setup so I can show off some of our roof accessories.

I use a Swagman XC2 bike carrier with the 2" hitch on my 2014 Ford Escape. Cheaper than the XCT2 and also fits a 1 1/4" hitch. Got it here: https://www.rvupgradestore.com/Swagm...0465A017E59875 No tax, free shipping.

Comparison: https://www.etrailer.com/question-17492.html
