No reason to make a mustang wrong on purpose. Anyone who cares about the number should just go use a dynojet and make themselves happy. Keep the mustangs honest lol.

We have dynojet numbers too. Not same day, but same dyno.

I am implying providing the original Mustang dyno numbers and then Dynojet equivalent numbers on a different plot. Give the customer what they want, and if they want to brag about being able to make 300 whp on a Dynojet, then let them brag.

So 70 whp and 40 ft-lbs of torque gained on a Dynojet. I love me some EAS by the way.

We'll be doing some further dynoing with race gas, but an otherwise untouched setup. A little birdie tells me to expect a substantial power increase, since the ECU and calibration will recognize the superior fuel....

What about reliability? Has anyone had a JR SC for an extended amount of time?

Not sure for "massive" top end with stock fueling...

That was a Dynapack. And Dynojets don't read high, just justifications some use to quantify their work to their customers IMHO.

That is correct, and dependent on calibration and gearing settings...

So to quantify and recap :

JRSC : http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=52992&page=3

KWSC : http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53538

So I pulled some of the charts off.. this is what the head to head looks like -

Same SC unit, about the same boost (there will be variance because it's belt driven) and an edge goes to the JRSC kit since that project has a HKS EL header. Both kits just came out in Dec, and AFAIK, these were in the first batch of each of the respective companies that were posted...

Now when you take the top SC performer with a header and compare that to an AVO setup at the same boost...

"All things equal, pound for pound of boost, a SC won't outperform a TC."

My 2 cents.

Oooh. Bear in mind we have cooler ambient temps and run 92 Octane compared to some of the others who run 91 and are in warmer climates...

Completely jealous of the fact that you are blessed with 92 Octane in your area. What is a californian to do? Damned emission laws.

That's certainly a handicap and our peers are certainly doing the best they can with what they've got - but everyone knows by now, the FA20 is one OCTANE SENSITIVE motor!
