Nope, it's not a record. It's the lovable media sprucing things up. Nearly declared a state of emergency for a laughable amount of snow. Everything seems okay, infrastructure restored to acceptable conditions within 24 hours. Human error makes these storms "epic".
By the way, we did get a foot, I measured.

Seriously though, schools here in Richmond were closed yesterday and the snow didn't even start until 4pm. And we only got ~3". Granted, today the roads are a mess, but that's because Richmond isn't equipped to handle snow removal/preparation properly.

Yeah, RVA did a shit job on the roads. The roads around the Atlee area were reasonable on my way back from work. The near west end had nothing done to them.
Which wasn't a real loss, had a blast taking the long route on my way home.

big shout out to @civicdrivr for his help with installing the intercooler for my Innovate supercharger last weekend and this past weekend. I definitely should have listened to my instincts and waited for things to warmup before tackling that install, but couldn't be happier now that it's done. Next up on the install list: Nameless header, Robispec radiator/oil cooler, Radium dual catch can setup and a flex-fire kit.
For those that haven't seen Radium's catchcan setup for the 86's, they're pretty slick. As an added bonus, it looks like we fixed the issue with my bumper not lining up properly with the fender (well, it's been fixed for almost 24 hours now anyway. fingers crossed that it stays.) |

Nice Rocketbunny kit. I'm pretty sure it does, but DOES it need the hood scoop?
