Thanks, I will give it a go, I have two different front pads with different coeficients of friction, lower one is in at the moment (which is the same as rear, my rear brakes are kinda big compared to standart brakes by contrast). I can always put the fuse back in and pedal dance it, just looking at learning a bit more about threshold braking without the ABS holding my hand for the time being.

Remember, that published friction alone, is only the peak friction a given pad can make at a given temperature. It doesn't indicate the type of response, bite, release, and modulation the pad has at a given temperature or friction.
Would it surprise you to know that the W5 is actually a higher friction pad than the C2? The C2 is stiffer, and has a more immediate, linear response than the W5, so while the C2 has lower peak friction, it engages more readily, in this case, leading to a front biased response to your brake pedal input! |

The W5 will have enough to stabilize the car, but not enough to really make the rear tires contribute as much as they can before the fronts are overwhelmed. Not a huge priority, but you'll see some stopping distance improvements once you square up the compounds. |
