Every time he said Morizo I heard chorizo. I must be hungry....

Raiti is part of the person type genus I call bro bots. I have to hand it to him here though, he delivered on the shifter. Shift feel is one of my biggest curiosities about the car and his focus on that was rare. Definitely promising.

Wait, did he say that the Circuit gets 295 lb/ft of torque? Isn't that misinformation since the Morizo edition is the one that gets that bump in torque?

That is correct. Only the Morizo makes 295 lb/ft.

There seems to be three basic categories for these YouTube "reviewers"

1) the extremely boring monotone dealership reviews where they just read a script and are genuinely surprised as they discover features while making the video.

2) The throbbing Eurobeat background teenager that obviously has no clue what they are talking about but they sure are enthusiastic.

3) The standard Bro Bot (love the term) with the flailing arms and meth head jerky movements that may or may not know what they are talking about but the viewers never can be sure due to the manic motion.

Generally I have about a 5 minute tolerance level for these reviewers. Not that I spend a whole pile of time looking at car reviews anyway.

I did spend some time on the Hakone reviews and found one that was sort of a middle ground.
Funny, reasonably clam and informative

Just give it a few months and mods will come out to make the same amount of torque which is why I’d be happy with a base model.

See, this is why I don't watch his videos. Only reason why I watched this one was because it's the GR Corolla.

Just that guy's thumbnail pose annoys me (I've actually blocked YT from suggesting any of his videos, lol).

Still better than some shitty bros out there with that annoying background music playing.

I'll be fine with the Core with the packages as I don't really care for the forged CF roof (ugly imo) or the hood (looks like Autozone vents to me). I'm sure a catback and intake will be enough to get to the same torque bump as the Morizo anyway. Although for me, it'll be purely for sounds. HAHA. I do hope someone makes a blank cover for the middle exhaust tip and makes an exhaust that just has the two outer tips. Or vice-versa, covers for the outer tips and a center twin tip.

I know for certain TOMS will make an exhaust, probably their classic quad tips. But I’ll be curious to see what others make.

Theres also the "Saabkyle" clone reviews.
Im assuming that Saabkyle was the first (and fairly well known) to review cars in his way (formulaic intro > then car intro including dealership he is at to review the car > then going over exterior/interior/features > maybe includes a test drive > then outro)

I say clone because i've seen or at least come across several wannabe reviewers who try to review a car but they do it EXACTLY the same way he does it, even copying his intro word for word.
Other more prominent reviewers usually follow the same basic "car review" formula but they all have their own distinctive style.

I actually don't watch a lot of reviewers now that I think about it. I'll watch Doug's videos, even though he makes me cringe at times, only because of, once again, the car he is reviewing. I like Savagegeese's videos. Aside from that, maybe the occasional TFL review (haven't watched one in a while). Too bad Motorweek doesn't do as many reviews. They are always straight to the point with their info, which is great if you want something short and simple.

I enjoy watching the Straight Pipe's reviews. They have a more relaxed, not so try hard style. At least it doesn't come off as try hard to me.

I like Sarah's reviews and have watched quite a few of them. Might have to add a "4) Reviewer with body kit or extensive mods" option to your type list.
