The local shop ordered from FBM directly.

We didn't see any evidence of it resurfaced. It's reasonable to say that flanges should be kept at a fair width, but there is no reason why it should be as badly warped as it is now. In addition, the shop have stated to me you guys are requesting to look at the warped manifold at our expense with absolutely no guarantee of any kind of resolution.

Unfortunately as large as this mega-thread looks it seems I made quite a mistake here choosing this kit.

Peter, sorry but I wished you and I could of spoke directly on the phone and not through emails/forums because things get misinterpreted. Your shop dealt with one of my guys and he just followed our standard procedures. We stand behind our products 1000%.

If there is a concern about a product that needs attention, we would happily cover all cost to resolve it (including shipping). Unfortunately, your shop wanted us to ship replacement items without us physically inspecting it or having the "faulty part" back. Through the years we have been doing business, we have learned that sometimes the "faulty part" never gets returned or it was not faulty to begin with. This is why we have a standard procedure to have it returned. This is not something that is directly towards you or your shop, so please don't be offended.

I will email you about how we can proceed and you are welcome to call or I can call you tomorrow. Thank you.

Pm me for my email/phone number. I have the install instructions and I can help you. Fullblown usually answers all my emails. Most of the time same day, the latest next day.

They designed the kit to use a T off the brake booster hose then you run a line over to the BOV where you T it off again and then run the line to the wastegate.

That is correct, you can tap the compressor cover to 1/8" npt and run if off there too if you like.
