Best catbacks to pair with catless header
Hi guys. I’m looking to buy a catback or axle back for my 2017 MT BRZ. I used to have a custom muffler delete which tbh pleased me volume wise with drone being tolerable. Now I have tomei catless uel headers, and ofc muffler delete became obnoxious. So I got my oem muffler installed back. Now I feel like my car is stock and miss the sound I had with muffler delete and stock headers. So.. in your experience, which catback or axle back would give me a volume close to muffler delete + stock headers? I’ve been oriented to q300, r400, Greddy supreme sp, Perrin 2.5 (discontinued) and the new dc sports axle back.

I'd consider this one: https://shop.namelessperformance.com...et-track-pipe/

Oh that looks nice and I like the weight saving. Gonna look for some sound clips, thank you.

Just be careful. Many will be too loud so pick a quieter one.

CSG touring is quiet but can give you options to play with front pipe.
I've got EL header paired with Catted/resonated front pipe and is perfect volume for me on the daily. Toss rear seats down its perfect amount of volume for me. |

The csg looks like a really good option. So far I’m leaning towards dc sport axleback cause of price and how easy it would be to swap back to oem for the annual inspection.

I have a Werks free-flow cat front pipe behind a Borla header. The Werks gives me a nice throaty growl but not overly loud. There's some drone but I guess I've gotten used to it. it's much louder for the first few seconds after I start it, but then the volume drops. I'm very happy with it. I've had two actually, which I bought used. The first one had the cat come loose and rattle making a lot of noise so I picked up another one. That combination, coupled with my Phantom electric supercharger, gives the car a significant performance boost. I've gone back to 93 octane from E 85 because the 85 was so hard to come by in my area. With the set up I have, I do very well with 93.
