Then how was a 240 in discussion?

If winter is a factor then why not look into an Impreza, Lancer, or perhaps a Jeep?

I'd love to have an older STi or Evo, but they are impossible to find in my low price range.

A 240 would be pretty bad in the snow, but with a cheap set of snow tires it can't be much worse than my current DD lol. Plus parts for the 240 are super cheap and they are easy to work on.

Idk...plus I've always wanted a turbo car and 240s are easy to turbo

Lol, I may be a bit biased. I was just wondering if there is a car out there I'm not thinking of.

I always scour CL at the end of work hoping to find something that hasn't been ruined by a kid or a 240 that hasn't been mutilated by a wannabe drifter in over his head...it's a struggle

I actually have a friend who has a 240 that's just sitting at his garage. All stock, good condition, and runs. However, he rather work on his 3 civics. One is turbo'd he got recently, second is a clean hatchy, and the other was his DD until he got the turbo'd civic. SMDH

I keeps telling him I'll buy that car off him, cause its such a waste that he lets it sit around collecting dust.
