Oh yesss.

Makes a difference in judging braking points as you get some depth perception a screen just isn't as good at conveying. Makes me nauseous after a bit though. The green hell is like the Death Star trench run in VR and a fast car.

yes - I think rf2, ac, acc, iRacing all do as we've had folks join us in VR. I assume others do but unsure.

Interesting. I don't have the motion issue with sitting games. I have had it trying to play a game where you can actually "walk" rather than jumping from point to point. For example, trying to play Skyrim where you can move for hours was a big mistake.

My 3 adult sons were home this weekend to visit, and we had a gamer weekend. One of the things we played was Horizon Zero Dawn, the board game.

It was a lot of fun, and very true to the video game (one of my favorites). Because it was our first play through it did take use a VERY LONG time to get through the entire campaign learning the mechanics (probably 5 or 6 hours) but if we played it again we would be closer to the 60 to 90 minute time.

The miniatures that come with the base game (for the mechs) are also great.

So I guess Microsoft not only is going to have exclusive rights to all new Bethesda games, but now Activision Blizzard. Absolute power move.

If I was Sony's CEO, I would be screaming. They better buy Take Two Interactive or anything that can counter what a loss having all future Activision games be exclusive for Xbox/PC would mean.

Yea, was just reading that. What surprised me most is they have already announced the existing CEO will stay as the head of Activision Blizzard despite all the negative press he has been receiving of late.

At this point I believe is up to the stakeholders to take a stand. I mean, possibly losing thousands of PS5 players just with Activision/Sledge Hammer/Infinity Ward is a move that I wouldn't take lightly.

On that note, I'm even happier to have switched to PC, no matter what game comes out, we'll get to play it, maybe not right away (God of War) but eventually, and better.

Probably the only way to get the deal done.

I'm playing my first God of War game, the recent pc release.
I am reminded of Tomb Raider.
Given all the positive reviews I'm wondering when does it become awesome.

It doesn't. The good parts are the setting, artwork, and story, IMO. Otherwise it's just puzzles, button mash fighting, and dialogue. If you are looking for knock your socks off gameplay, it's a bit disappointing from a modern perspective.

Its the evolution of the character itself. From being the Ghost of Sparta, killing everything and everyone in your sight, to a more mature and reserved Kratos, who now has to raise his son on his own while teaching him about the dangers that vengeance and rage can cause.

Also the evolution of the game, with a more open world with side quests and scenery that goes along with it.

You can't just smash your way around, at the right difficulty setting, some enemies require a lot of dodging (hello darksouls), timed parries, and knowing when to use special abilities. The lore of the game is almost on point when it also teaches you about the Norse mythology.

Pre-Built computers for the new generation chip-sets are already popping up. About $5000 a piece. Imagine having a computer capable of rendering 180+FPS on a 240Hz 4K OLED monitor, with your new, fancy, $5K computer, just to hear a 12yo insult your mom and then call you a noob.
