BRZ oem nav going day to nite

The book says:
Quote:
The screen's color scheme differs between day and night. Using the
current time and GPS position, you can also switch automatically
between day and night screen settings just before sunrise (at dawn)
and just after sunset (at dusk).
but even during daylight hours, if I turn on the parking or head lights (rain, fog, etc.) the screen switches to night mode.

Anyone find a way to get it to only change due to the time of day?

From the audio menu, go into info, then I believe setting, there is an option to set when it switches from day to night, either by light switch position or by time (day/night) that you enter. No option for GPS though.

Thanks. I found that setting, and I'm using it now. Still not quite like the book describes though.
