All this Fallout fallout is exactly why I don't pay much attention to reviews on games, movies and books. It's all subjective. Sure, if you find someone that enjoys the same things you do, you might be helped out by a review, but typical user based reviews eventually all become mob mentality one direction or the other.

In the end, throw down your money and decide for yourself.

Of course, that's also why I typically don't buy a game until its been discounted or its the GOTY edition.

That said, I'm pretty sure SERPRENT got it right, whatever he/she said above...

agreed with that. generally if it looks interesting to me where im intrigued enough i will get the game/watch the movie. everything that comes out is going to have good and bad reviews and everyone is going to have their own thoughts as to why which may be different.. like batman vs superman and justice league lol had bad reviews but i still enjoyed them

now about fallout.. i never got into them but sure played the heck out of the elder scrolls series lol

...and since we are talking video games...

One of my pet peeves are non-driving games that include driving (Fry Car, Watch Dogs, etc, etc) as a core part of the game but don't understand that there is not just acceleration and deceleration. It would be nice if you could just maintain a steady speed without constantly speeding up or slowing down.

I've been a PC gamer since the mid-90's but recently my right wrist has just hurt too much to use a mouse for extended periods. I have a racing wheel for racing games, but it's collecting dust. I was thinking of going to the dark side... console gaming.... ugh.

I actually considered it and almost did it.

But I have a gaming PC I don't use sitting around the house and yesterday I decided to try Steam's Big Picture mode. I hooked that PC up to the 4k TV in the livingroom and got an XBox controller. Holy crap it works! In games designed for gamepad use (Dirt 3, Alien Isolation so far) it's like a console game and in 4K res AI is pretty awesome. Other games not made with gamepad in mind are hit and miss- Nail'd works great, WAW was too awkward.

So try Big Picture mode it's pretty cool.

Pretty tired of Bethesda trying to profit off Skyrim still. I guess it's not exactly their fault though, since people continue to buy whatever the most recent of it is.

It's unfortunate, but you're right. People are still willing to buy new versions of it I guess, so it's their own fault.

Looking forward to E3 in the next couple of weeks.

@Tcoat, Fallout 76 is on its way. I'm mixed on what I've seen at this point though, sounds like it will be more focused on online (trailer below)

Also Assassin's Creed Odyssey looks interesting.
