That's because it's a tad bit expensive for a part that only makes noise and provides no performance increase and weighs almost as much as stock catback - per other owners of the car.

Imo, its not expensive at all. No drone and great sound. Then again, I'm not chasing higher hp or anything like that (at least for the foreseeable future).

It is super crazy loud with an ace type A /350 header. Mind numbingly loud

Does it still retain the boxer engine rumble? That's what I'm going for

That depends on the header, not the catback. I sold it for something that played well with my header. If you want that sound,go unequal length header. Some headers apparently aren't too loud with the Corsa.

Any examples of the more quiet headers? I'm interested

Not from me. I switched to an invidia q300, and my exhaust sounds awesome now. Reasonable at cruise, and shrieks a beautiful exotic noise at WOT above 4000 RPMs. I am also on a Jackson racing supercharger. I have no knowledge on other headers with the Corsa, sorry. When I ran the Corsa, JDL ultra quiet front pipe, and this exhaust it was brutally loud. Even with stock frontpipe it was brutal. It sounded great, but crazy loud. 118 decibels at a 45 degree angle at maybe 30 feet according to my decibel app.

Recently installed the corsa catback (last weekend)

Before I was running a nameless muffler delete axleback

first impressions... WHY DIDN'T I DO THIS SOONER!!!

It sounds soo nice on the throttle, but the best part is.. when you're off the throttle there is NO DRONE. It sounds like an OEM exhaust when cruising... but when you go WOT it howls really nice. Not too loud, not too quiet.. I'd say it's just right.

I know this term is thrown around wayyyy too often. But this corsa is really how the car should have sounded stock.. It's almost like an OEM + exhaust.

Plus the tips look super badass (they're huge).. the build quality looks top notch, and the fitment is perfect. Would highly reccomend this system for someone who is looking for a upgrade over stock that is a bit louder but still tolerable for a DD (I can use my bluetooth now whereas with the nameless it was useless)

So I had mxp el header installed with Corsa. It is quite loud especially at 3000 rpm and on highway. Anyone else have this issue?
Its nice at higher rpm and lower. Any thoughts on fixing it?

As far as i know and heard that is normal and to be expected. The thing with Corsa is that exhaust really should be used by itself and not changing any other exhaust components. Once you have changed other exhaust components that messes with Corsa's "no drone technology" the frequencies have changed and thats why you feel its louder now. Anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong.

You're right. Although I did recently change my headers to JDL unequal catted with a open flash tune stage 2 and the no drone technology still does its job, unless I'm going lead foot on it

I've had my Corsa cat-back for a couple of weeks now and so far I'm very pleased. It's throatier than stock when on the throttle, but at cruise it sounds very OEM and has no drone.

That tends to happen when you pony up more money. I very nearly got the Corsa but went with Ark instead. My car is super loud too but no drone
