Have one on order. My Whiteout got totaled in a hail storm so I figured I'd order a 10 Series.

Doesn't have to be, necessarily. The end bill for my hail damage (this was nickel/dime sized hail) is above $4k. That was just the hood, roof, and trunk lid. Add all exterior pieces and glass, you can easily get towards that 75% threshold.

Yeah. I posted pictures in the San Antonio thread. It was about golf ball sized hail and it came down hard for about 15-20 minutes. Shattered out the rear window along with all of the interior and body damage.

Yeesh, makes my damage look like a couple of rock chips by comparison.

was anyone able to make an order in the bay area. called 3 dealerships near me and at first the salesman had no clue what i was talking about, then all of a sudden he does but tries to make an excuse to make me the frs they have in the lot, and finally hes not sure if theyre getting one. blahhhh!

Haha. That was a much more polite exclamation thatn what I said. I was more in shock than I was in anger. But State Farm is giving me 24,500 for the car and then 75% for my intake, exhaust, and window tint. I'm taking a loss on the tune. But I got a good tax return so I'm just going to get new parts.

This is a carbon copy of the first 5 visits/calls that I made to different dealerships. It's all about finding someone at the dealership who is 1) knowledgable about Scion or 2) resourceful and eager enough to get the information to educate himself.

Keep trying. Ask your salesman to call corporate, or to call the area Scion rep of the in dealership mgr won't.

I love it when salespeople with 100% confidence give me an answer on the FRS timing (I always hear 2014) and tell me all these make believe mods that it will come with (not true) lol.

I'm curious if anyone has been told an arrival date of late July to August? That's what I'm being told. Does that track with what anyone else has hear?

When I ordered mine, no one at the dealership knew about the 10 series... they had to ask the sales manager cause they where clueless...
