STI front vbar and rear draw stiffener?
Has anyone installed the oem rear draw stiffener and flexible front bar? Did you notice any driving improvements?
I recently watched a subtitled video on YT that suggested the rear draw stiffener makes a noticeable difference on the characteristics of the car. They did not go into specifics on the front bar however. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I stumbled across that part too and wondered if it really performed as advertised.
Another part I've never seen before on other platforms and questioned its effectiveness is the door latch stiffeners and shims. |

I know a bunch of people with old NA/NB miatas will run the door latch doohickeys to stiffen up the chassis a touch. That said, compared to a modern, nonconvertible platform like this one, they are not nearly as stiff from the factory.

I installed it. Negligible differences in ride quality. However, there is less NVH after the install.

Interesting to hear that it cut down on the NVH. I would have thought it might go the other way and increase some of the noise/vibration by making the car stiffer.

I think it may be the rubber boot that covers the joint? Idk. At any rate, less NVH is always a positive in my book.

I don't get the rear one. It's out in the ass end; well beyond where any stiffening is going to benefit suspension geometry.

I'd be more interested in the tower strut they have, but yet to announce one for the new model. Actually I wonder the the old one still fits as the height of the intake plenum has changes hasn't it?

I came to the same concern - I'd like to get the four STI parts together (V bars, strut brace, front & rear draw stiffener) but lack of confirmation on fitment on the brace and front stiffener on the ZD8 are keeping me on the sidelines. It looks like it would clear but yeah.. dunno.

I have the '18 tS flexible v-bars on my '22. Only caveat is they are all black. No bling. Front draw stiffener will be a no go as there are extra stiffening braces on the '22 model where this will go. The rear draw stiffener is listed as ZC6/ZD8 compatible. I can't confirm, but I'll bet that the strut brace is a direct fit. |

There's a good picture of it installed with the rear bumper off at this link on Subispeed's website.
