Awesome to hear. Hope I'm not far behind. Just curious, why do you say a 'loose' ETA? And that's from SoA?

Direct quote from Matt at Beyer. Not sure what it means.

Loose meaning subject to change if there are any updates as it gets closer. I did get my VIN as well. Got a reasonable insurance quote from Allstate (see insurance quote thread). I'm pretty happy about it, all said.

Hey Guys, I am a Sales Manager for 355 Toyota Scion in Rockville MD. All Scions FR-S's will get released from the Port on May 29th. Most Dealerships should have The VIN's by now. I know I have them for the 5 That I have sold for June 1st

I just got my VIN today and they said that the car is in load mode. This means that it is on a truck and waiting to be released.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

A BRZ just arrived today here in southwestern VA. It is already sold but the dealer called me to let me know I could come take a look before it gets picked up.

Because I'm saving myself a whole hell of a lot more by buying in Virginia. You got a problem with us crabbers, eh?
BTW how are you saving more by buying in VA ?

^ I'm sure it has more to do with the deal he got, not the state he got it from.

Congrats, it must have been a killer deal. I wanted to keep my taxes/MD fees together with my purchase price and also had a terrible previous out-of-state buying experience. Not having to go to the MVA or a tag/title place was enough to keep me in-state.

Anyone have their car yet? I was supposed to have it last week, and now... crickets chirping???

Killer Deal? Scion encorporates Toyotas Pure Price Policy. SHould be the same price everywhere, $24,930 for a M/T and $26,030 for an Auto. In fact, VA is more expensive because their "Processing Charge" isn't regulated by the state. MD is only $200
