Not sure what market those cars are actually for. The GR units are all metric, not sure on the BRZ. The GR also has folding mirrors, and I'm not sure that's actually going to be offered in the USDM.

Found this on Toyota's website:

Infotainment differences?

Sheeesh. So much for another win for GR. That harmonizes really badly with the Toyotas interior, much worse than the Subaru one.

Should I mention that Toyota's press release stated that all GR models are getting start/stop?

Makes sense, since all the Subaru’s do too.

Is there any promo material on the BRZ that states it? I haven't seen any in the latest press release materials.

Eta: I went back and looked, and I misread the Toyota release. It actually says smart stop technology, and not start stop. Disregard what I said before.

Still, all interior shots have shown start buttons, regardless of brand/trim level. Likely the cost is low enough these days that complicating the assembly line flow with another option isn’t worth it.

This way they all get the same door handles, same antennas all around, and the same dash trims and cluster/immobilizer programming.

You're misunderstanding me. I thought it meant auto stop/start. I was wrong.

Has anyone read anything about the stereo system yet? I have heard 6 speakers in premium and 8 in the Limited. And some whispers about an amp in the Limited. But I am wondering if all of that is true and whether we will be able to add the sub from the 2022.
