Well bigger spoilers = more power (think supra and wrx sti), and rolls royces have suicide doors, and everyone likes rolls royces.
Comparing a FR-S/BRZ to a Rolls-Royce is like comparing a fancy restaurant to McDonald's. Besides, suicide doors have hardly been around lately. Why need it?

So many things could work where the useless analog speedo takes up space. I wouldn't know if the needle in out car even works. I NEVER look at it.

You're crazy if you think they will make these changes after one model year.

Toyota did the exact thing with the FJ...

I believe it was the 3rd model year they increased the horsepower and changed the engine but they still changed quite a few things the 2nd year.

They changed things with the engine in the second year because they were having huge warranty claims. Nothing to do with increased performance. Believe me, if they don't HAVE to change things, they won't. I worked long enough in Toyota product dev. to know this.

That picture shows an analog speedo. Analog = needle. Perhaps there is some confusion.

The power went from 239hp to 260hp.

I thought there were issues with this cars engine? I would think Toyota and Subaru would tweak it a bit.
