It's over the legal limit catless. Catted, I don't know, but it's still loud *enough* to attract attention.

Compared to my old nameless axleback this thing is super quiet and mellow almost stock like even with my catless header.

What is the diameter of the exit pipes that the tips are attached to? Thinking about swapping tips. @CSG Mike

I think they're 63mm ID.

Will the CSG 86 Touring Exhaust with a catless header more quiet than the STI Axle back with catless header?

I need a free flow exhaust for my supercharged BRZ and I found my perrin 2.5" resonated is too loud for my taste still.

Thanks!

I went from a 2.5" resonated Perrin to CSG and would 100% do it again for its quieter and mellower tone.

I currently have a 3" resonated Perrin exhaust and it sounds fine (not too loud, although I wouldn't mind if it got a bit quieter / I'm old) at idle and when cruising above 3500 rpms. What I absolutely hate about the exhaust is the drone from 2700-3400.. Especially on decel.

Would the CSG touring fix this issue for me?? My car has a JDL Turbo Kit with a 3" turbo back system. Would the 2.75" catback mate fine with my 3" front pipe?

Yup, will completely kill your drone.

Have a 2017 86 with TRD exhaust, cylindrical muffler, "D" tips. How is the CSG Touring sound / tone relative to it?

It will be closer to stock, no drone unlike most TRD exhausts. Quiet when you want it to be louder when you getting on it.

So Laguna Seca event has come and gone. There were those with the CSG Touring86 exhaust on FI and NA setups. It was great to see all the race setups on CSG Touring86 exhaust system pass sound at WOT without any issues! All traveled up to Laguna Seca on a nice 6-8 hour journey to run out there.
