Instead, just use the bluetooth connection to utilize the head unit to simply act as a bridge to the speakers which allows the head unit's sound settings to be in effect. And using the software equalizer from the music player app on my phone does next to nothing and would even distort the music.

Think of the extra $3100 as going towards the Brembo brakes and sachs dampers and it becomes an easier pill to swallow.

But yes, up here in canada, it's literally a $3100 extra for a set of ugly wheels. I just tell myself i'm paying more for the toyota badging for my own stupid nostalgic reasons
Complete and total crap! The worst part is that since the phone goes through the door speakers you can’t hear a thing even at full volume.

No way. Selling the next one on Kijiji. I really enjoyed the $2000 offers and guys that wanted to trade even for their 98 CRV With only a few problems.
Need to know what wax you used on the old girl to get that front bumper to actually shine again.

You can buy almost all interior used if desired and get way better suspension then the performance package. All for less then new. Plus get the wheels you really want. Only thing is no warranty.

Does not mean if you really want a new car that it’s a not a great car, it is but has most of the weaknesses of the previous gens.

Hard to top a CRV with only a few issues, but the best I can do is a 2014 FRS trade and maybe, MAYBE, a few bucks.

Not sure which picture you saw, but no wax has been applied to her yet. Just a lot of power washing (paint friendly tip), foam cannon, hand wash, a good rinse, and then hand dried. Also used some iron fallout remover to attack the lower parts of the fenders and they clean up really well.

You *could* buy a whole new interior and suspension, but that isn't for everyone. Some owners just want the simplicity and warranty of a new car, and to them I say thank you! As pointed out by a few people including some new owners, without them there would be no used cars for us to buy and no new sports car innovation and designs.

The one of the front fender in the sunset. It looks extra shiny.
Well you would not be a good Kijiji buyer since they would want to trade the FRS and I give them a few. Bucks to take the Hakone.

Integrating that climate control, dash, steering wheel etc would probably not ever be worth it monetarily. I still havent seen a successful climate control swap, but a lot of people ask about it. Getting it in your car from the start? Sure. The PP brembos go for a pretty penny off wrecked cars.... there is definitely value in it if you're buying a new car.

Sounds about right.

It’s largely the same car as my old 2013 I bought new back in the day. But the small changes they made inside and out addressed quite a few of the complaints I had. It makes for a better, more refined car overall.

So long as you know what the car is going in and don’t try to lie to yourself, it’s hard to be disappointed.
