Months ago I removed the plastidip from the wheels because it was starting to look a bit faded. I'm also considering getting some lightweight Enkei RPF1s in the future! Still deciding between black, gold and silver but I'm thinking black right now. Here's how the 86 is currently sitting!

Just completed my exhaust setup! Got the 2.5" Perrin resonated catback exhaust installed today and it sounds absolutely perfect with the rest of my exhaust (open flash uel header, berk front pipe, and berk over pipe.)
It sounds exactly how I wanted it to sound. Not annoyingly loud but deep and growly enough to show that the exhaust is not stock. I would definitely recommend this setup to anyone who wants a louder exhaust but not something that is embarrassingly loud or full of drone. Don't get me wrong, it's still loud, but only when you want it to be. The exhaust tips look great too! Perrin really designs some great products! |

Really clean build dude! Crazy how simple mods such as plasti dip completely transforms the car. Saw an Asphalt FRS in my area with gold rims the other day and they looked mint. You should definitely consider gold, but you can never go wrong with a black out.

Thanks man! Yeah, I do like the gold wheels a lot. Guess it's going to be a tough decision!

Finally got some Enkei RPF1s in bronze! I love how they look. I got the 17x9+35 with some 245/40-17 Continental Extreme Contact DWs. I'm pretty happy with how they sit but I think the front wheels poke just a little bit too much. I'll have to look into getting some camber bolts or something... But I love the bronze color and I don't think pictures really do them justice.
I have now dropped about 80 lbs off of the weight of my FRS. I'm considering the Shrader rear seat delete kit as probably my last weight reduction mod. I might wait until spring before I purchase the kit if i decide I want to remove the rear seats. I'm kind of sad because there's not a whole lot more I can/want to do to my car I'll probably purchase some Winjet headlights and then maybe swap out my side markers with some smoked ones. And then I might get a custom tune from Drift Office. But it's been three years and I'm still loving my 86! Happy modding everyone! |

Here are some pics. It's been too nasty out to shine up the tires....

Couple pics with whiteline camber bolts installed in the front and set for -1.5 degrees camber. It really helps get rid of the poke with this wheel setup. I would recommend it.
