depends on what part i need. for anything critical i go to the dealer and get factory parts. other than that, i'll go to whichever one is open and closest to wherever i'm at.

+1. Always try OEM first then head to O'Reilly's, Advance, Auto Zone if needed.

Getting parts from yota nowadays is pretty difficult for the 86. Man, even at the regular stores.
Can't get strut mounts anymore from any of reg auto stores(random part to bring up, I know, but I had to replace one not too far back), at least not the driver side. Toyota they go for something like $200 a pop. I also have to order something that you replace fairly often, like an air-filter. They don't carry them in-store anymore. Age is starting to really become a bothersome. But yeah, if its something extremely important, I always go to the dealership first. Misc. items, regular parts stores. |

My favorite online store is:
http://www.trdsparks.com/ They sell tons of OEM parts at a much cheaper price than dealers. Saved me a lot. Great customer service too. I like the Autozone here in town cuz the manager is a chick! lol. Nothing sexier than a woman that works on her own car. |
