Noise coming from the engine.

Purchased my FR-S in August and noticed a strange noise coming from the engine when idling on neutral. Has anyone else experience this problem? Took it in to Long and they said its the fuel pump but toyota has this part back ordered with no ETA.

short answer since everyone else will just say search, is yes, it is a common problem, thus a shortage on replacment parts.

Replaced mine, and they are back, waiting on an actual fix instead of a bandaid that lasts for around 300 miles.

Also, check the TSB section, and engine noise or cricket thread for oddities with the car.
