Short block chipped and indented, still useable?
Back in August I had a spun bearing and finally had time to take it apart. Looks like it was cylinder 1 that got the most damage.
Looks like the piston kept hitting the block and lefts marks. They aren't too deep but noticeable. Other cylinders were mostly fine but some of them look chipped. Just wondering if I need to replace the whole block or if I can reuse it. (First time doing an engine pull and disassembling an engine btw) |
