Clear silicone caulk. Just "glued"it to the roof. Took a piece of paper with a big glob and stuck it on the bottom to be sure it was sealed. Be careful not to get too much on the lip cuz it'll squish out when you press it to the roof. Wipe of any extra right away so it looks nice

Actually, I don't require this file after all. I'm going to design one from scratch and incorporate a threaded post so that I can tighten the insert to the roof from the underside. That way I can use a thin gasket instead of silicone, and I can be absolutely sure it'll never come off.

Hey Ashikabi (been a while...) took some time to get the plug printed...

looks pretty good so far. Next is a roof wrap
will post a update after that with nicer pictures

Ha! There were some guys on the Facebook group last night taking about this. Even linked my thread. There was even a guy talking about selling one he made with a laser cut gasket for 30euros in a separate conversation. Thanks for sharing the pic. Eager to see what it looks like wrapped
