After installing crawford power blocks I got itchy and tried starting the car with the amplifier box hanging off. No dice. Grounds are important.

That sucked.
Brings to mind a back-in-the-Army motor pool-story.

A mechanic was working on a 3/4 ton truck. It wouldn't start. The motor sergeant walked over and chewed him out for taking so long and then ask him what he had done. The sergeant listened to him trying to start the engine then told him he had put the distributor in backwards.

That was my motor officer lesson for the day -

Did that on my Chevelle with offenhauser tunnel ram with two 850 double pumper carbs. Shot a flame 5 feet in the air. I was lucky didn't break or burn anything.

Yikes! Mine was considerably less spectacular - a few pops and a hot starter motor before I figured out what I had done.

Does your Porsche have carburetors or is it FI.

Just so I need to know if I should worry about or not -

We all went through the learning process.

Just ask ol @Ultramaroon about the time he replaced all the spark plug wires in his car, he took them all off, then when he went to make and install new wires, he didn't keep track of which one went to which plug - or, was that @Tcoat or @Sapphireho - I forget -

yeah the gif was just sarcasm because it is probably the 15th time I've suggested this to someone with a no-start condition after they worked on their engine and it ended up being that grounding bolt. It is a VERY common thing that people often overlook and end up scratching their heads about when their engine won't start.
