I'm concerned about the 4 heavier weight wheel/tires which could make the car feel slow or feel heavy on the steering wheel, but you said there is no loss in that fun factor which is good. |

Could you bring some of that camber in on that setup? Do you have any other suspension components/alignment?

Need opinions on the Enkei Raijin
Hey everyone, I need your opinions, if that's alright..
I'm picking up my swp BRZ on the 6th of Sep and couldn't be more excited! Being the financially responsible guy I am, I'm already looking at stuff to buy. I'm planning on getting new shoes, the Enkei Raijin in either gun metal or black. 18x8.5 +45 front and 18x9.5 +45 in the rear. Maybe a mod can make a poll, but the question is, gunmetal or black? |

I'd get hyper silver for SWP.

gun metal is never on my list. You could always go flat black from hyper silver
Plasti dip them. However, hypersilver is not easy to get it done unless you want to powdercoat it. I want raijin too |

Free bump. My question would be does the staggered affect "wreck" the handling. I know it will under steer more but hearing comments about a staggered setup would be nice. The balance of this car is so... minty fresh it's a tough call whether or not to mess with it.
I'll vote for the silver finish too. I'm looking at maybe gunmetal if I go with the raijin wheels. |

I was seriously one click away from ordering the raijins, mainly because of how clean ATL BRZ's car looked, but my gut pushed me to order the Gram Lights 57Xtreme instead. We both have SWP and I was gonna order it in gunmetal. Goodluck with your purchase and I say gunmetal!

I just bought a set of Raijins as well, and I went flat black. on WRB car.
Haven't mounted them yet but for the past 9 months I have plasti-dipped my OEM wheels flat black so I know I like the look of them. and btw I went square setup 18x8.5 all around because going staggered will definitely give you more understeer and that's not what I want. I've spoken to others locally who went staggered and they definitely feel the handling has changed and not for the better. Coming from OEM wheels & tires of course any stickier rubber will give you better grip overall but at the limit if that matters to you, you want to keep that neutral balanced feeling. There's no doubt the staggered looks better, but I would rather enjoy driving it than looking at it.
