Installed a fresh set of friction rings on the front. Got 3 years and a bunch of track days out of my stoptech 328x28 setup. Also installed new gopro mount, that mounts to the bar of the headrest. Seems pretty sturdy, hopefully the new angle works out better then mounting to the back window.

A friend of mine spent several hours across the past three days doing a full detail, paint correction, and a couple layers of ceramic on the car. I figured after a little more than 3 years of ownership, the car was due for a more thorough cleaning than I'm capable of. Especially important since it's a 24/7 outdoors, daily car so it gets shat on and whatnot every day regardless of how recently I've cleaned it/wiped it down.

I've got a couple different external parts going on tomorrow, which I'll share photos of later, but I took a few photos this evening while the car is still pristine:

its 1/24 scale adjustable bmrx kit.. using tamiya body model scale for it. its like 5 times the cost of a mini z lol kit alone was like 420 and then motor/esc/servo/gyro another 200$ then body paint lights ect.... already have a radio futaba 7px and lots of batteries ect.. this thing almost the cost of my yokomo 1/10 drift cars lol

Took it out of the garage today for the first time since the first week of April. Had been slowly putting the car back to stock since then during the whole Stay at Home Order crap, even though my job still had me working lol.

Top pic was what it looked like before April. Bottom pic was taken today right after I picked it up from the alignment shop to get it closer to being put up for sale. Was fun while it lasted!

Spent the last couple of days doing a full detail and trying out new products with my new Rupes LHR15MKIII. Front end done with Sonax Perfect Finish and topped with a coat of Powerlock+ sealant and Collinite 845 wax. The rest of the car is polished with Rupes Uno Protect AIO and then topped with P&S Beadmaker.

Then installed adjustable struts today. I couldn't stand being underdamped with Eibach Sportlines on the factory struts. Driving around town was fine for the most part but it was still quite disconnected and squirrely. I eventually found that Tein had the EnduraPro Plus line for our platform so figured I try them out before I spend for the CSG Flex A. They feature HBS (Hydraulic Bump Stopper) that's primarily on the Flex A and their Rally line I believe.

The install went fine for the most part, the instructions were terrible as usual but I called Tein USA to clarify some things during the first part of the install. They were very helpful! The front struts were a little bit of a pain to try and tighten the top bolt since the shaft would spin. But there really isn't a way to stop it without special tools at the least. I was able to hold it with my hands using rubber gloves and vice grips while tightening it down. Thankfully the rears I was able to impact no problem.

Even though it has HBS, the regular bump stops are still required. The front installed fine but the rear was an odd one since it would just sit and cover the threads. I had to flip the gold washer that sits on the shaft and put it on top of the bump stop and let it sit that way. But it doesn't have a great grab of the bump stop, so there is a good chance it will slide off. I'll have to get that clarified with Tein but overall the car rides good so far. I currently have it set to 8 clicks from stiff in the rear and 6 in front.

Squeaky clean, next up alignment!
