Dude! I have drove that crossing 30 or 40 times a year for decades. The lanes are very clearly marked. There is even a big CANADA ONLY painted on the asphalt.

Yeah it's not a big deal. I've messed up (or had PAX who messed up) with ids or paperwork a bunch of times. They could fine me or my company but it's usually just a stern warning. More what they are concerned about are certain red flags. I had a (barely) underage girl who was 17, riding with a nanny. Since the last name didn't match the CBP agent came with the door of the aircraft with one hand on his gun and said "Alright this is how this is going to go.." I was like oh shit.. cause usually they are super laid back. Turned out the girl's father lived in Canada and Mother in the U.S. and she knew the drill and had all her paperwork and whatnot. Her Mom even ended up showing up to the airport during the process and came out of the FBO to greet her and us next to our private jet on the ramp. Then after that the guy was super chill again like usual, lol. So yeah minor stuff (I wouldn't risk it intentionally but) they don't make a big stink about probably just remind you how much the fine could be if you do it again. But if they think you might be human trafficing or some other illicit activity they go full military style on you.

I got to that bridge one time and the debit for paying the toll was down. I didn't have any cash at all (I rarely do anymore) and had to sit through a 10 minute lecture from the old lady attendant in how bad it was to not be prepared for all such situations and since I knew I was crossing the border and there was a toll I should have had cash ready as well as debit. She was literally screaming at me and the line up was getting longer and longer.
The toll was $1.25!

I didn't think about it at the time, but I am pretty sure they where doing training so they ran me through everything. There was one older guy and a bunch of agents that looked like kids to me, and I was 25 at the time. The older guy was pretty stern. They especially jumped when they find out you are not US born, but are a US citizen. I want to say once I got on the bridge, it was around 3 hours before I was on my way. I always carry my passport card after that.

Here's some that you may not have seen that will keep you busy for weeks. They are available (or at least were) on Netflix or Amazon:

Midsomer Murders
Silent Witness
Dr. Blake Mysteries
You need to get with the Nordic Noir and throw in some Dutch and Belgium stuff. As for recent good Brit stuff: Normal People, The A word.

heres a fun game,

shop all tires by size 215/45/17 on tire rack and sort highest price to lowest

why is the primacy hp the most expensive tire that tirerack.com carries?
im guessing here, but i presume they are so efficient for mpg that car companies will spend extra hundreds on each car just to have a point higher mgp on their adds

The price Tirerack charges and the price the manufacturers pay are not even remotely close. Small volume retail vs massive quantities contract prices. Call up the supplier and say you want a million or so tires a year and see what the cost will be.

Truth and I feel this pain as I just bought a new tire right now because of a nail that's about 1" away from the sidewall. Kind of pisses me off because it's more than what I'd pay for one of the 265/35R18s I'd get for my TEs that are still sitting in the boxes lol

So getting those TEs on just got pushed further back, again

Bubba says you could have plugged it, then double patched it, then put a tube in in it and you would have been good to go -

THE HAKONE CURSE!
I had to replace a tire today as well. Same thing.
The only difference is that since my wife is a fiance manager at a trailer dealership and talks in some foreign language to the car dealer ones she got me the top of the line extended warranty for $500. It includes 5 years of tire road hazard coverage so my replacement tire cost me $0. Also includes the first 6 services for free so that will come to about another $600 saved. I will make money on the warranty and that doesn't happen often.
