Then you don't have Proper cooling because hard drives usually run about 30°C should not range any more than 40°C. You're pushing the high-end temp range of the drive and will shorten its life. Mine run 24 seven and I am running about 26 28°C.
That's far from "super fucking" hot like was mentioned up above in the response I replied to.

OP.. Thanks for the pics and entertainment.. Probably not much magnetic friendly material to gather.. But it can't hurt anything.. I keep my defunct hard drive magnets on sides of the toolbox.. They are incredibly powerful for their size
