Wheel Paint Recommendations?

I scuffed my Gun Metal colored Five Axis wheel and can probably sand it down and paint it. Does anyone have any good recommendations on brands for wheel paint?

Thanks,
Gina

I've had good luck with just rustoleum paints if you are doing it yourself.

Also, plastidip is wonderful. Sprayed my buddy's wheels on his wrx, he loves it and they seem to hold up quite well! Paint chips much easier but is cheaper. You can make plastidip pretty glossy too with their clear coats but I've never used them before.

As someone who used Duplicolor to paint his OEM rims, I vote against this if you are tracking the car. It just doesn't stand up to abuse well. Flakes easily and heat and brake dust will destroy the finish in no time. I cannot speak for other products.

Thanks for the tip! I am going to sand and paint them myself.

I've had good luck using Engine Cover Paints (rated for 600F +), as far as heat goes. As far as paint chipping........ill blame that on the clear coat that I used LOL
