1000km engine noise?
Hi Everyone,
I just went over 1000km in my new GTS and I noticed that exactly when the odo clicked over to 1000 I started hearing a slight electronic whine with acceleration that wasn't there before. I don't think it's a problem, and its kind of a nice noise to add to the usual (and awesome) rumble but has anyone else noticed this? Have the clever people at Toyota programmed the engine so that some extra bit doesn't start to kick in until after 1000km? Some sort of protection for new engines? Interested to hear if anyone else has noticed this. |

Hmm... could it be something to do with the induction to the footwells? Or perhaps there's some sort of electronic connection to the rpm meter which is feeding a loop through the speakers?
