Dent Hero

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know about a service called Dent Hero. They specialise in paintless dent repairs. Any small dent such as hail damage or someone else's door damage they can get out very well.

I went and saw them today to see if they could work out a mystery dent I found on my bonnet last night. It was small, but sharp.

Stephan, the manager was great to talk to. He's had a lot of experience doing this kind of stuff. We spent a long time talking about the 86 and various dent removal techniques they used. I was quoted $150 for the job.

John, the technician, does the work and is incredibly skilled. He moves around a lot and goes at the dent from every angle. He's a perfectionist and will keep at it until both you and him are satisfied with the result.

Since my dent was quite sharp, he was unable to get it out 100%. Now it's not visible unless you are specifically looking for it and I would say it's about 80-90% repaired. Because of this, Stephan only charged me $100 and not the original $150.

Overall great service and I highly recommend them for any of your small dents. They are Sydney based, but do travel to other parts of Australia on occasion so just email and ask. Details below...

I'm not sure what you mean, sorry. He used black magic where he'd impact around the dent and it eventually came out. Don't ask my how that worked.

My front bar needs a recoat though. I had to replace it a few months back.

Might need your help @Frank @ BrightShine,i was at the ramp at Olympic park and the parking lot was getting a little congested. The car in front had it's rear a little too close to me and when he went up the ramp, the car rolled back a little (manual car in front) and touched the tip of my bumper. he later got out of the car and looked at his rear bumper then looked at my front bumper, then gave me the thumbs up and said "just a little dirt, all good"

Obviously i had to take a look for myself. I've noticed if you look at it from a distance, you can't tell but once you have some light on it and look closer you can see the light scratches (a little more visible than swirl marks). I am lucky that i got Opti-coat off you Frank . I doubt light marks didn't reach paint as opti-coat acts like a protective film over the car (sort of like screen protector for your phone, right?).

anyways, I'm not entirely paranoid as it is luckily on the plastic bumper not metal. But it does pains me to see it when it becomes visible in the light.

Sorry for hijacking your thread Alexi

After only 2 weeks of having my GTS, the wind blew my door into a plastic bin at a servo and it dented the driver door much the same size as hail damage.

I was so depressed lol.

Also surprised that the bin did such a dent - but the car isn't what I would call 'strong'. It;s certainly built on the 'light' side, and it shows in the outer panel thickness etc.

Anyway, I used a paintless dent guy from Nowra here on the South Coast and he did a fantastic job - I cannot see a thing and my new shiny looks new and shiny again
