He told me a month before it'll arrive that I'll get my car. I put my car on carsales that weekend (had to just give it a clean and take nice pics) and its still on carsales.
Gawd dammit. Not sure what to do. They offered me 9k for it. What a joke at 2.5k under redbook.

Has put a real dampener on the excitement.
What's the status on your 'tracking'? Is is 'still to be confirmed' or has it progressed to 'planned for production'? If still at 'still to be confirmed' then the bloody order has still to be sent to Japan!! My GT order placed now over 5 months ago has NOT progressed ONE inch!! Thank my lucky stars I rang around outback Dealers in Q and secured a GTS, being built in 10 days!!

As mentioned before, the Dealer got an extra car and I took over the guys original order. OK guys, if any of you work for a Toyota Dealership, let us know if your Dealership got an extra car allocated in the past 2 months or so, I know of three at least in Q that got extras - shame they were not matched to outstanding orders preferenced by oldest order first.

Status is " Being prepared for transport " in the transport company's storage yard.
17/12/12 is estimate delivery date. I'm calling the dealer again tomorrow to confirm when it will be ready. And to try and get a deal out of him for my mini. Just an extra 2k would be nice :/. It has really put a dampener on my excitement. Sucks.
My dealer had an extra allocation in my spec and hence why I have it earlier than first expected. My tracking details changed and everything.

Oh well, it's time to go sort out finance now anyway. Yippee!
W will probably end up on the same boat. My car has to be shipped up to Hervey Bay. That will probably account for the extra two days I have to wait. As for the gap in start of production - its only a few days and a ship doesn't leave each day to Australia. I would not be too concerned.

Im not actually from QLD. Just flying up from NSW to get it because it was the only one I could find. My original order kept being pushed back, and when I found out it had been extended again until April at best, I said 'see ya later'.

'Oregon Highway' still anchored off Townsville 6.54am - must be waiting for a berth in Port - that's almost 24 hours now!

That sucks dude... my first one only took two days from the ship docking to it being at the dealer! so much variation. dealer told me it would depend upon heaps of things like how much coffee the stevedores had to drink that day - jk, it depends on where the car was located in the ship etc. but surely 2 weeks is stretching it. all the best mate
